The Nitty-Gritty Stuff
We’ve learned to obsess over the connection points. A loose fitting isn’t just a nuisance; it leads to arcing. We use vibration-resistant connectors because when a press is running at full tilt, things shake. You need that lamp to stay seated. We also use specific quartz glass. It ensures the UV-C and UV-B wavelengths hit the ink exactly where they need to, rather than just wasting energy.
Making it Work in the Real World
Installing these units shouldn’t be a nightmare. We design them for “drop-in” swaps. Nobody wants to spend their afternoon rewiring a whole cabinet just to change a single bulb. It should be fast and painless. Once you’ve got it wired up, double-check your ballast. If the voltage is off, your tubes will be dead within a week. And please, keep your reflectors polished.
