Technical Deep-Dive: Power and Dimensions
Here’s the thing—we built this double-ended UV lamp to be a powerhouse in a small package. It runs on 400V, which lets us pack a lot of wattage into a short tube—about 300mm long. That voltage keeps the current in check while still throwing enough energy into the quartz to get hot, fast. You end up with a tight, intense heat zone in a really small footprint. Perfect when your machine is cramped and you need serious heat without taking up a ton of room.
Material and Design
Inside, it’s a halogen-filled quartz tube, built to heat up quickly and hold steady. The halogen cycle inside keeps the tube from blackening and protects the filament, so the lamp stays consistent—even during long runs. And the double-ended design? It uses R7s bases for a solid, two-point mount. No wobble. No drift. It’s a clean, drop-in replacement when you need to swap it out, and it stays locked in place even when things get shaky.
Application and Benefits
On the production floor, this setup shines whenever you need fast, controllable surface heating—like curing, drying, or pre-heating materials. It lights up almost instantly and delivers repeatable heat, so you can keep your process tight and consistent. Just keep in mind—this is high wattage, so it throws off serious heat density. Make sure your equipment has the cooling and shielding to handle it. Pair it with the right reflector, and you get heat that lands exactly where you want it, even and predictable.
